Costa Smeralda
Our brand, KAMPOS, was born in 2019, in Costa Smeralda, one of the most beautiful coastlines in the world. Located in northern Sardinia (Italy), in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea, Costa Smeralda is more than a luxurious holiday destination made of world-class golf resorts and sumptuous hotels.
The coastline is an astonishing Beauty as the fragrance of laurel, oleander, and juniper carries on the breeze. The dream-like beaches, isolated coves and inlets, and gently-changing shades of blue and green sea make the coastline a pure treasure for the senses. Costa Smeralda gets its name from the emerald shades of the sea and means Emerald Coast in Italian.
The heart of the Mediterranean Sea
Beauty lies in the eye of the beholder, so goes an old adage and it nearly always rings true, especially if the Beauty is indefinable, enigmatic, obscure. But the same cannot be said for the Costa Smeralda, whose heart-rendingly magnificent Beauty is so palpable that even if the eyes of the beholder cannot perceive the beauty it would render them more susceptible at the very least.
A transformative, primordial and ultramodern Beauty, made of stone, wind, water and salt. A stretch of the Gallura coastline that appears to have been sculptured by the gods, and a crystalline sea whose exquisite colour is simply beyond compare.
A Beauty that is so majestic that even “bad habits” are reduced to the level of human weaknesses and good habits (such as wearing a good swimming costume) can be born from the sea, bringing it back to life.
Our roots
KAMPOS is born from an unconditional love for Costa Smeralda in the Mediterranean Sea. Costa Smeralda represents our birthplace where you can meet the true brand essence consisting of integrity, respect and authenticity.
The Beauty of the coastline is magnificent, indefinable and magnetic but it can only last if we make the commitment to protect and respect our environment. At KAMPOS, we are committed to protect the area, preserve the sea life and tackle the marine pollution. We are official partner of One Ocean Foundation, to whom we donate part of our proceeds for the preservation of our marine environment. One Ocean Foundation is a non-profit organization founded by the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda in Porto Cervo.
