What is Good on You?

Their purpose is to create an easier sustainable shopping experience for anyone, by being the primary source for brand ratings, articles and expertise on ethical and sustainable fashion. Good On You uses the power of millions of consumers who want to shop from brands that are in line with their values.


How does Good on You rate brands?

The Good On You brand rating system assesses a brand’s policies and practices in three key areas: planet, people and animals. It provides a rating on a five-point scale where brands are rated from 1 (We Avoid) to 5 (Great). The ratings are based on publicly available information including certifications and industry standards. They notably look at brands’ impact on workers across the supply chain and brands’ resources and evaluate if their policies can have a negative impact on the planet and/or animals products. A brand needs to be rated at least ‘Good’ or ‘Great’ in the rating system in order to be officially recognized as ’Rated Good On You’.
