Claudia Filigheddu
Claudia Filigheddu is one of Italy’s most esteemed artists using a painting method based on water colors. She has created exquisite paintings outside and inside KAMPOS’ Boutiques, giving each store a unique signature style. Her paintings take inspiration from the brand’s designs celebrating sea marine and nature. Her work for KAMPOS first started in 2020 when the brand opened its first Boutique in Porto Cervo (Sardinia). Since then, the artist has kept collaborating with the brand and her role has expanded over time. Indeed, she also paints beautiful designs that are used to create the new prints of the brand.
Originally from Sardinia, Claudia Filigheddu was 10 years old when she discovered her passion for arts. She visited the workshops of the two French artists, Maryse (ceramist) and Henri Bataille (sculptor) and becoming an artist was the only dream she was determined to chase. Over the years, she had the opportunity to meet the most talented architects, artists, and decorators. Some of them influenced her career. They saw her talent and encouraged her to experiment different techniques and grow her art. The year of 2016 was a major turning point in her career. She painted the stairs leading to the church of Santa Lucia in Arzachena (Sardinia). Her work immediately generated great success around the world.
Nowadays, Claudia Filigheddu dedicates her time to paint areas where public can admire her art. She wants to be in direct contact with them and transmit her vision of love, care, and hope.
Silvia Pasqualato
Silvia Pasqualato is an Italian artist who has crafted unique pieces for KAMPOS’ Boutiques. Her delicate art celebrates the diversity of the sea creatures in our planet. She embellishes each creature from whale sharks and killer whales to rare fish species and reinterprets their beauty. Each piece is entirely made from recycled wood, allowing her to give a second life to the material.
In her small artisan shop in the province of Venice, she collects old wooden boards, coming from old boats or abandoned buildings in the Venice lagoon and transforms them into beautiful art pieces. The used material undoubtedly brings charm and character to her art. The unique appearance and the small flaws of the recycled wood give originality and authenticity to her exquisite creations.
Through her art, Silvia also wants to reduce marine pollution and to raise awareness of marine debris in our seas.
Her work is available to buy online through our art collection.
